GUANCIALE AI
Web UX/UI, Branding
2024
Project Overview
Guanciale.AI is an autonomous crypto trading platform blending Web3 functionality with gamified finance. I was contracted by the project in its early stages to lead the design of the company’s main website, the first iteration of the GUAN Terminal app, and an AI-powered portfolio advisory tool called Portfolio Advisor.

My Work
Website Redesign & Branding
Took over from a placeholder landing page to design the first official Guanciale.AI website.
Defined and implemented a complete design system, brand language, and visual identity—including typography, color palette, layouts, and illustration direction centered on the Guanciale mascot.
Collaborated with a concept artist to delegate and integrate bespoke artwork into product UI.
GUAN Terminal App
Designed and launched the first version of the GUAN Terminal web app within a ~1-month sprint.
Built out:
Gamified Roulette Module: Rewarding spin-based experience to engage traders.
Staking Module: Simple and intuitive interface for earning yield on GUAN tokens.
Wallet Dashboard: Overview of performance, history, and token breakdowns.
NFT & Asset Management: Interfaces for organizing and interacting with various assets.
Bridge & Transaction Flows: Designed wallet linking, cross-chain interaction patterns, and onboarding UX.
Portfolio Advisor (Concept Design)
Led the product design for Portfolio Advisor, a not-yet-launched AI assistant embedded in the terminal. It provides:
Portfolio performance breakdowns
Natural language querying (e.g. “How is my portfolio doing today?”)
Market analysis notifications based on trading trends
Designed the chat UI, message logic, and core scenarios, balancing the tone between casual gamified UX and trusted financial information.

Outcome
The website and GUAN Terminal were successfully launched, helping fuel community engagement and token activity.
As of January 2025, the Guanciale (GUAN) token reached a 24h trading volume of ~$128K USD.
GUAN Terminal is now live and used by the community to stake, monitor, and interact with the platform.
Learnings
This project taught me how to deliver complex products under high time pressure. From visual identity to gamified UX to crypto integrations—I worked across design, product, and brand simultaneously. I also rediscovered my love for 0→1 product execution and rapid iteration. Working closely with artists, devs, and stakeholders gave me a deeper appreciation for how design can anchor a product vision and scale across mediums.
